LIFE CODE Medical Ltd., in compliance with national and European legislation, has issued this Privacy Protection Statement for prospective employees, workers, and associates. This policy applies to all individuals who may be hired by LIFE CODE Medical Ltd. as employees, workers, or associates, whether they have submitted an application for a position or have been selected as candidates by a recruitment service collaborating with our company to identify the most suitable applicants for available positions.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

LIFE CODE Medical Ltd. will process your personal data as part of your participation in recruitment procedures and to comply with its legal obligations. Processing your personal data is necessary to evaluate your suitability for the corresponding position. Recruitment officers are bound by confidentiality obligations. Your personal data are securely stored in our email system and servers, and we do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area.

Data Retention Period

By signing this statement of acceptance, you provide consent for further processing of your personal data and its retention for one year. The purpose of retaining your data for one year is to allow assessment of your suitability for subsequent recruitment processes if we do not initially offer you the position.

You may withdraw your consent at any time. Upon withdrawal, we will delete your personal data, and you will not be invited to participate in future recruitment processes. No negative consequences will arise from withdrawal of consent.

Sources of Personal Data

If you applied for a position advertised by our company, we acquire your personal data from you or from other data controllers (e.g., professional database providers or recruitment services). Following your application, we may obtain information about you from professional social media platforms (such as LinkedIn) and other internet sources. We contact previous or current employers and colleagues only with your prior consent.

Recruitment may also begin through direct contact initiated by our company. We contact potential candidates using publicly available information, professional social media platforms, recommendations, or referrals.

Types of Personal Data Collected

For applications submitted in response to advertisements or through recruitment services, we process personal data provided in your CV, interview information (contact details, education, qualifications, and employment history), proof of eligibility to work, and publicly available personal data. If we contact previous or current employers or colleagues, we also process the information they share with us. You will be informed in advance if any background or criminal checks are required.

If recruitment is initiated by our company, we only process publicly available data, your name, and contact information until you express interest or decline the position. Personal data submitted following an expression of interest will be processed; if you decline or cannot be contacted, your personal data will be deleted immediately.

Purposes of Data Collection

Personal data are processed solely for recruitment purposes, including evaluation of skills and experience, conducting interviews, verification of professional qualifications, and obtaining references from previous employers and colleagues.

If hired, a new confidentiality statement covering your employment period will be issued, including the relevant information and legal basis for processing personal data during your employment.

Sharing Personal Data

Personal data regarding the position applied for (including work, skills, and experience) are shared with individuals who provided recommendations. For certain positions, data may be shared with other company members during recruitment if necessary for assessment. Upon acceptance of an offer, personal data will be shared with tax authorities and social security authorities to enable employment.

Right of access — obtain access to the personal data we process and information about its processing.

Right to rectification — correct or complete inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

Right to erasure — request deletion of personal data where there is no lawful reason for continued processing, provided company interests are not affected.

Right to data portability — receive personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and reuse it across services.
