Dr. Aspasia Divane is a Biologist and Laboratory Geneticist (certified by Hellenic Ministry of Helath), graduated from the Department of Biology at the University of Patras (1991).
In 1995, she was awarded a Ph.D. with distinction from the Medical School of the University of Patras, following the successful defense of her doctoral thesis.
She served as a Scientific Associate at the Molecular Cytogenetics Laboratory, Department of Pathology, University of Cambridge, UK. Her work titled “Divane et al., Prenat Diagn 1994; 14: 1061-1069” was featured in the Department’s Annual Report as the best publication of 1994.
Dr. Divane worked as a senior Cytogeneticist in prominent genetic laboratories for 14 consecutive years. From 1995 to 2000, she was a Cytogeneticist at Intergenetics Hellas Diagnostic Center and AlfaLab Medical Institute of Research and Diagnostics. Between 2000 and 2003, she served as Head of the Cytogenetics Department at AlfaLab. From 2004 to 2009, she organized and led the establishment of the Cytogenetics Department at the multispecialty clinic Locus Medicus.
In 2009, she founded and has since directed the diagnostic laboratory LIFE CODE Medical Ltd.

She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Panhellenic Association of Bioscientists (PEV).
She serves as the Coordinator of the Health Committee of the Panhellenic Association of Bioscientists (PEV).
